BOCA RATON, FL – Hidden Harbor Capital Partners (“Hidden Harbor”), an operationally focused private equity firm specializing in control investments in lower middle market companies, announced today the hiring of Tucker Coates as Vice President of Business Development.

Mr. Coates, who brings a decade of experience in various business development and institutional sales roles, will be responsible for sourcing investments and generating new business opportunities in key industries such as industrials, transportation and logistics, business services, consumer products, and retail. He will report to the firm’s Managing Partners, John Caple and David Block.

Prior to Hidden Harbor, Mr. Coates served as an advisor to the Milwaukee based venture capital firm Capital Midwest, as well as business development consultant with investment banking advisory firm Katz, Kane & Co. in New York. Previously, he held the positions of Managing Principal with AustinWeston Asset Management, Director of Business Development with FOS Advisors and Managing Director for Curve Asset Management. Mr. Coates began his career as a Managed Account Specialist & Wealth Advisory Associate for Bank of New York Mellon and its subsidiary, Dreyfus Funds.

Mr. Coates received his Bachelor of Arts in International Political Economy from Fordham University.
