Cape Girardeau, Missouri, October 24, 2023 – Island Pump and Tank (“Island Pump”), a Hidden Harbor Capital Partners portfolio company and provider of maintenance, repair, and installation services to fueling stations and critical infrastructure, today announced the acquisition of Mid-South Steel Products Inc. (“Mid-South” or the “Company”). The acquisition expands Island Pump’s geographic footprint into the Mid-West and further enhances its ability to expand service coverage for valued existing customers.

Originally founded in 1954 by Albert Underwood and located in Cape Girardeau, Missouri, Mid-South Steel Products is a provider of service, installation, manufacturing, and distribution services focusing on petroleum equipment, serving customers such as fuel retailers, agricultural co-ops, and other customers throughout the Mid-West. Mid-South Owner, Sonny Underwood, originally joined the company in 1968 and will continue to remain involved with Mid-South.
