HIDDEN HARBOR CAPITAL PARTNERS ANNOUNCES THE PROMOTION OF ANDREW JOY TO PARTNER
Boca Raton, FL, June 29, 2021 – Hidden Harbor Capital Partners (“HHCP” or the “Firm”), a leading middle market private equity firm based in Boca Raton, Florida, is pleased to announce that Andrew Joy has been promoted to Partner. Helping to establish HHCP, Andrew joined the firm at its inception and played a key role the Firm’s first 5 platform investments. John Caple, Managing Partner, said, “Andrew was my first call when David, Chris, and I decided to form the initial team for Hidden Harbor. I worked with Andrew closely at Comvest Partners, our prior firm, and I knew he would bring a strong intellect and tenacious work ethic, and would contribute immediate value to the Firm.”
During his tenure at HHCP, Andrew has served on the Firm’s Investment Committee since its inception and has focused on all key aspects of the investment process including sourcing, transaction execution, and portfolio company oversight. “In his time at HHCP, Andrew has excelled at identifying strong investment opportunities, bringing a best in class underwriting and due diligence approach, and building out our thesis in the automotive sector where he has particularly strong experience,” said Chris Paldino, Managing Partner.
Within the Firm’s portfolio, Andrew serves on the Board of Directors for Cloyes Gear and Products, Anchor Danly / AWC Manufacturing, Masterwork Electronics, and Wehner Multifamily. Additionally, he served on the Board of the Company’s first successful realized investment, Stella Environmental. David Block, Managing Partner and leader of the Firm’s Portfolio Operations Group said, “Andrew is fantastic at building and leading teams, both internally and at portfolio companies, and takes a genuine interest in developing our team members at HHCP while also acting as a trusted advisor to our management teams.”
Andrew brings over a decade of experience in private equity and investment banking. Prior to joining Hidden Harbor, he was a Vice President in the Private Equity Group at Cerberus Capital Management. Prior to Cerberus, Andrew served as an Associate at Comvest Partners and worked closely with John Caple on several different investments. He began his career as an investment banking analyst in the restructuring group at Morgan Joseph. Andrew graduated Valedictorian and summa cum laude from Emory University’s Goizueta Business School, earning his B.B.A. in Finance and Economics.
